The coastal trail

Also known as the “sentier des douaniers”, the “sentier du littoral” (coastal path) will guide you through the most beautiful landscapes of the Côte Bleue! You’ll walk through unspoilt countryside, dazzled by the color of the water and the beauty of the panoramas along the way…

The section between Carry-Le-Rouet and Niolon is the most popular with hikers, as the itinerary passes through numerous creeks and coves of incredible beauty. A swim stop is a must!

But be careful before you set off. The coastal path is steep and sometimes cliffside, so you’ll need to be used to hiking, and have shoes suited to the terrain.

↔️ 15 km separate Carry-le-Rouet and Niolon.
🚞 To avoid a round trip, take the TER train from Niolon to your starting point.
🥾 Difficult – Don’t go if you’re not comfortable with heights and rocky terrain.
🤿 Don’t forget your mask: the crystal-clear waters of the small creeks are ideal for taking in the sights!
